Prevention of injury and maintenance of a healthy workplace is an essential part of our business. You can be reassured that our certified liability insurance and WSIB are always valid. All of our employees and sub-contractors have the Safe At Work Ontario training and know their roles and responsibilities to ensure they are working in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations.

PL Fencing is WSIB insured and works in compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) regulations. Our employees receive training in First AID & CPR/AED, WHMIS, as well as Working as Heights, Forklift and all other job specific training. Supervisors also undergo additional Health & Safety training to better support their crews. We strive to provide a safe and healthy working environment for all employees and customers!

Further to this, we provide in-house training to all employees on the proper use of hand and power tools and hot work equipment including maintenance and safe handling, as well as the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Trucks, trailers and equipment are maintained and kept in safe working conditions at all times by performing daily checks and regular maintenance.

We continue to promote a safe work environment by conducting all necessary safety training, meetings and tool box talks in order to prevent and eliminate safety hazards and help employees know, understand and implement safe work practices and procedures. Each employee is supplied with our Health & Safety Manual which includes all of our policies and procedures. We adhere to OHSA rules and First Aid requirements and supply our employees with all safeguards and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
